Spend October 4th in Siskiyou County touring and tasting through three unforgettable on-farm experiences. We’ve crafted the perfect one-day itinerary with everything you need to visit, enjoy, and Discover Siskiyou. The experience begins with U-Pick Dahlias, and a quintessential pumpkin farm with stunning views of Mt. Shasta, and ends with a traditional fall apple festival in the idyllic Scott Valley. These three farms are connected by less than an hour of driving, making for a remarkable fall adventure in Siskiyou County.

  • Pastures of Grace (Gazelle) 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.– Begin your morning at the u-pick dahlia farm at Pastures of Grace. Fill a bucket with blooms for $40. At 2:00 p.m. enjoy the “bouquet bar” with Copper Acres to craft your perfect arrangement. End the day with smores and a movie at sunset —all framed by stunning Mt.   • Hunter Orchards (Grenada) 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.– Celebrate autumn at Hunter Orchards, where you can fill a farm wheelbarrow with pumpkins in every variety of the season. Enjoy live music, crisp air, Tacos Tao Food Truck, and the cozy charm of Siskiyou’s most iconic pumpkin patch. | 14431 Old Westside Rd, Grenada, CA.

  • Kidder Creek (Scott Valley) 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.– Round out the day at the Kidder Creek Fall festival, with fresh-pressed cider, apple picking, caramel apple making, and pony rides in the idyllic Scott Valley. Free. | 2700 S Kidder Creek Rd, Etna, CA.

The California Open Farm Passport invites the public to explore the bounty of local farms during regionally coordinated events throughout the year. Farm guests will have opportunities to learn, taste and buy a diversity of crops from specialty crop farmers around the state, who have opened their farm gates.
