Shasta-Cascade Opens Its New Location on W Miner Street in Yreka
The Shasta-Cascade Small Business Development Center (SBDC) recently opened it’s new center location at 412 W. Miner Street, in Yreka. The SBDC is nationally recognized for providing technical assistance, advising and capital assistance to small businesses, at no cost. Center Director, Quintin Gaddy, is available to meet with small business clients in Yreka by appointment, by calling (530) 222-8323 . Small businesses are encouraged to enroll as a client here, prior to scheduling an appointment.
The Siskiyou Economic Development Council has served an SBDC host since 2015. Today, the center provides no-cost small business advising and capital readiness programs serving Shasta, Trinity and Siskiyou businesses. The center staff and a team of advisors provide office hours, trainings and 1:1 advising to small businesses in each respective county.
In Yreka, the SBDC center is located at Yreka’s newly renovated Carnegie building. The SEDC reimagined the landmark as a center for entrepreneurship, collaboration, and community connection. It’s careful repair provides and inspiring setting for one-on-one business advising and workshops and serves as an innovation center where ideas grow, businesses thrive, and people can come together.
