Siskiyou Small Business Center Announces Five Year Renewal

We thank every small business owner who has worked with us these past five years. We are looking forward to serving Siskiyou County business clients for the next five years.

Siskiyou Economic Development is proud to announce that it has been renewed as a Small Business Development Center for at least five more years. The initiative launched in 2016 as a strategy to mitigate unemployment within Siskiyou County. This additional time will provide ample opportunity for Siskiyou’s SBDC to build upon existing highly demanded services for our county’s small businesses.

Since 2017, the Center has consistently exceeded its targets and expectations. Through one-on-one advising and low-cost events and workshops, the Siskiyou SBDC served 158 businesses in 2020. It has assisted new and existing businesses, making it possible for them to acquire capital, pivot into new marketplaces, and more. Over the years, these efforts have led to job creation, business expansion, and skill development for both business owners and employees. We thank every small business owner who has worked with us these past five years.
