This video contest will promote the different perspectives of tourism related events, businesses, business ideas, activities and social gatherings in Siskiyou County by combining “Work and Play in Siskiyou County.”
Eligibility: This contest is open to legal residents of the United States. Participants do not need to reside in Siskiyou County but the participant’s video(s) should promote Siskiyou County business and recreation. Participants may choose to work in teams if desired or work alone. Each participant whether working in a team or by individual status must turn in a contest submission form.
How to enter: Participants of “Work and Play in Siskiyou County” video contest must (1) complete a contest submission form for each video submitted, (2) create an original video that complies with these rules, (3) submit the video to YouTube (4) register and upload your YouTube video URL, (logo/pictures optional) and all available information – by TBD. All submissions must contain the completed contest submission form to the Siskiyou County Economic Development Council office (address is below under contest deadlines), or Email the video with the contest submission form to julie@siskiyoucounty.org by the contest deadline of August 3rd no later than midnight. If a participant is under the age of 18, the contest submission form must be signed by a parent or guardian. A downloadable version of the contest submission form is available on the website http://www.siskiyoucounty.org Entries with unfilled information on the contest submission form will be ineligible for the video contest.
Contest Description: The Siskiyou County Economic Development Council invites individuals and teams to submit an original 3-minute or less, digital video that illustrates what makes “Work and Play in Siskiyou County” important to the participant(s). Video(s) may focus on the different perspectives of tourism related events, businesses, business ideas, activities and social gatherings in Siskiyou County. Each video must showcase/feature both a work aspect and a play aspect for Siskiyou County. Each video must have a title, authors name(s) and appropriate citations to sources if needed. All videos that do not contain one or all of the following will not be eligible; a title, authors name(s), appropriate citations, and under 3-minutes in length.
Contest Deadlines: Completed entry forms and videos must be submitted into the Siskiyou County Economic Development Council no later than TBD. Completed entry forms and videos may also be emailed to matt@siskiyoucounty.org no later than TBD. If mailing in the completed entry form and video please send to the address below. Any entries received after TBD will not be accepted and judged.
