Tonya DowseExecutive Director
Tonya Dowse has been the Executive Director of the Siskiyou County Economic Development Council since 2005.  Tonya has over 20 years of experience in Economic Development.  Her hard work resulted in the 15 year designation of the Siskiyou Enterprise Zone which helps to attract, retain and expand business in Siskiyou County. Tonya represents Siskiyou County at the state level in leadership and advisory board positions with Upstate California, CAEZ (California Association of Enterprise Zones) and Housing and Community Development CDBG (Community Development Block Grant Funds).

Jason DarrowProgram Director
Jason Darrow has an MBA as well as several years of private business experience and extensive knowledge of the community.  Jason has held a public leadership position as a Yreka City Council member.  He also has experience in financing with a focus on commercial banking and lending.

Christy Cummings Dawson has an MBA and several years of grant management experience that featured regional collaboration.  She has worked extensively in the public sector and has a thorough knowledge of the community.

Jill Harris has held positions of community leadership including Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and board positions for local organizations.  She has a history of community involvement and business development and promotion including marketing and social media experience.

Julie MeadowsExecutive Assistant
Julie Meadows has been part of the SCEDC staff since 2008.  She is extremely well versed in Enterprise Zone tax credits and is responsible for the employee vouchers that are processed in the Siskiyou Enterprise Zone.  Julie has a thorough knowledge of the business communities.

Brian BriscoFacilities Manager
Brian Brisco is responsible for the maintenance and upgrades to the Siskiyou Economic Development Council facility including the remodel of the Siskiyou Harvest Food Center.  He is the direct contact for Siskiyou Harvest clients and the Siskiyou Food Producers group.  Brian also assists during culinary courses taught at the Siskiyou Harvest Food Center.
