Located north of Redding and south of Ashland, OR, Siskiyou County is a midpoint between major markets such as Portland, Sacramento and San Francisco and is bisected by Interstate 5. Industry leaders such as Belcampo Farms, LOGE Mount Shasta, Ozotech Inc. and Steve Potts Bicycles are just a few examples of a companies who chose to locate in Siskiyou for several strategic reasons.

In 2018, company partners for LOGE Camps were researching emerging trail towns to locate their fourth LOGE lodging property. At the time, LOGE Camps were opening in niche communities like Bend, OR; Leavenworth, WA; and Westport, WA, to name a few. “When searching for a location that fits our purpose, we select places that offer our customers vast opportunity to connect with the outdoors,” says Tanner Turner, General Manager for LOGE Camps.  “We chose Siskiyou County and Mt.
