Timber Counties Loan Program

The State Assistance Fund for Enterprise, Business, and Industrial Development Corporation, or SAFE-BIDCO, serves as a non-traditional financing source for existing and start-up business owners who may not qualify at their commercial bank. SAFE-BIDCO provides small business loan financing and guarantees that are otherwise difficult to secure. This allows banks to maintain their primary relationship with their customers. The Timber Counties Loan Program may also be utilized when a lender's loan to value commitment is limited and the applicant cannot make up the difference on a commercial real estate transaction. For more information, visit the SAFE-BIDCO website. Offices are located at 1211 North Dutton Avenue, Suite D in Santa Rosa, California, 95401 and can be reached by phone at (707) 577-7348. Information provided by SAFE-BIDCO.

Superior California Economic Development

Superior California Economic Development or SCED, is a four-county economic development district including Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity. Its base office is in Redding. SCED offers communities and businesses in these counties services including demographic and economic information, the Cascade Small Business Development Center, the Microenterprise Development Program, various technical assistance projects, and community planning and strategizing. The SCED can provide businesses, community groups, and others information regarding the economic climate of its four counties. County economic profiles are developed by the California State University, Chico Center for Economic Development and are available at SCED. If the SCED doesn't have what you're looking for, they can generally arrange for additional specialized profile information.
